Fjelland Floors opened its doors in 1989 with Jeff and Jim Fjelland at the helm. We started out small with humble beginnings and a business vow to provide exemplary customer service and guarantee our results. Fjelland Floors is a family owned business three generations strong. Jeff and Ryan Fjelland have kept the store running and have handled the process from start to finish. With Jeff’s recent retirement, the ownership has now transferred over to Ryan with a continued commitment to customer satisfaction and top quality workmanship.
We are a hometown business. Three generations of Fjellands have lived and thrived in McMinnville, Oregon, and we aim to keep it that way. We love to see returning customers coming back to have new flooring installed thirty years after we installed it the first time! Our customer service and products are second to none. Over our almost 30 years in business, we have developed close contacts and relationships with manufacturers, contractors, and other specialists. We call upon our trusted friends to assist when a customer is in need. Your satisfaction is our goal.

Ryan Fjelland
Ryan is the third generation Fjelland to own Fjelland Floors. Over the course of many years, he has learned the trade directly from his father and fellow employees, picking up the skills quickly and efficiently. Ryan works hard every day to provide quality work for his customers and community. He approaches every customer’s home like his own, and his goal is to treat his customers the way he would want to be treated. Ryan is fair, personable, and proud to work at a business his family has built for over 30 years.

Michelle Joel
Michelle has known the Fjelland family for many years. Occasionally she can be found in the showroom, but mainly you will see her in the office or as a friendly voice behind the phone. Any billing or invoicing questions? She is happy to help! You will be greeted with kindness and a smile, as she believes in providing superior service to our valued customers. Michelle is proud to work with the stellar Fjelland Floors team, because from sales to install crew, we are all family here. Cole Petersen
Cole - also known as “Big Pete” in our office - is the newest member of the Fjelland Floors team. He has known the Fjelland family over a decade and brings experience from previous work in the remodeling trade before joining the team. His infectious smile, “can do” attitude, and innovative problem-solving skills allow his customers the ability to talk through their options and feel confident the job will be done professionally and to their specifications.
Morgan Pittman
Morgan is a McMinnville native and is actually Ryan’s sister-in-law. She is typically the one who will be greeting you in the showroom. She has many years of experience in customer service from retail to spa coordinator to professional beer pourer. She is the one who will order all the materials needed for your project and coordinate the scheduling for a seamless install experience. She also has a great eye for design and is more than happy to help you choose your materials for your dream remodel. And yes — she can type with those nails! 😉
